Many of our beautiful items are made exclusively for Josephine Clare. Most of our sterling silver is comprised of 92.5% pure silver (the remaining 7.5% comes from copper). Since pure silver is quite soft, adding copper to fine silver makes it more durable and longer lasting. This also gives the jewellery a more highly polished finish.
